The promoter

  1. The promoter is Virtuosite, of 57 Hambledon Mill Park, Accrington, Lancashire BB5 5FQ (“Virtuosite”, “we”, “us”). Contact: admin@virtuosite.co.uk.

How to enter

  1. The giveaway opens on Friday 30 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 13 December 2026. Nominations received after the closing time will not be considered.
  2. To enter, fill in the nomination form at virtuosite.co.uk/win. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
  3. Nominators must be 18 or over and live or work in the UK. Our employees, their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the giveaway can’t enter.
  4. You can nominate your own business or group, or someone else’s. You can make up to three nominations, but each must be for a different business or group. A business nominated more than once is treated as one nomination, and we’ll read every reason given for it.
  5. Entries made in bulk, automatically or through third parties will be disqualified.

Who can be nominated

  1. A nominee must be a business, sole trader, partnership, charity, club or community group based in Hyndburn, Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale or Ribble Valley.
  2. Nominees must be lawful, and must not be businesses we couldn’t reasonably build a website for under our normal terms of service (for example, adult services or gambling).
  3. Current Virtuosite customers can’t be nominated.

How the winner is chosen

  1. This is a judged competition, not a random draw. After the closing date, the Virtuosite team will judge all valid nominations against these criteria, given equal weight: (a) how much difference a new website would make to the nominee; (b) what the nominee contributes to the local community; (c) how clearly and convincingly the nomination makes its case.
  2. The judges’ decision is final. We will pick one winner and two reserves.
  3. We will contact the winning nominee by phone or email by Monday 4 January 2027 and announce the winner on Tuesday 5 January 2027. If the winner does not accept the prize within 14 days of our first contact, or is not eligible, we may offer it to the first reserve, then the second.
  4. We will publish the winning business or group’s name and town on virtuosite.co.uk and our social media pages, and keep that information available for at least one month afterwards. Anyone can ask us for it by emailing admin@virtuosite.co.uk.

The prize

  1. There is one prize: 12 months of the Virtuosite Business plan, free of charge, worth £780 (12 × £65). It includes: design and build of a website of up to 10 pages, with a blog; hosting, a domain name, an SSL certificate and daily backups; up to three email accounts; search engine setup and setup of a Google Business Profile; and up to one hour of updates a month, as set out in our normal Business plan terms.
  2. The 12 months starts on the day the website goes live. The winner must provide their content (text, images and logo) within 60 days of accepting the prize, or the prize may be withdrawn.
  3. The prize doesn’t include: paid third-party services (for example premium plugins, stock photography, paid advertising or a shop and card payments); work beyond the monthly update allowance; or transferring a domain the winner already owns, if that would cost a fee.
  4. The prize is not transferable, and there is no cash alternative. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make that necessary.
  5. At the end of the 12 months, the winner can choose to: carry on with the Business plan at the standard monthly price (currently £65), on our normal rolling terms with 30 days’ notice; buy the website outright at the standard price (currently £445); or end the service with nothing to pay. We will remind the winner at least 30 days before the free period ends. No payment will be taken without the winner’s agreement.
  6. Apart from the price, the website is provided under our normal terms of service, which the winner must accept.

Offer for nominees

  1. Every eligible business or group nominated will be offered a free website review. Nominees who sign up to any Virtuosite plan by 31 January 2027 will get their first month free. This offer is separate from the prize, has no obligation, and only applies to the first month of one plan.

Publicity

  1. We’d like to feature the winner and their new website in our marketing, with their agreement. The winner doesn’t have to take part in publicity to receive the prize.
  2. We will only name a nominator publicly if they agree to it.

Your data

  1. We will use nominators’ and nominees’ details to run the giveaway, contact nominees about their nomination and the free review offer, and publish the winner as described above. We will only send marketing to people who have opted in, and anyone can opt out at any time. We will delete the details of people who haven’t opted in by 31 March 2027. Read our privacy policy.

General

  1. We may disqualify nominations that are false, offensive or break these terms.
  2. If something beyond our reasonable control means we can’t run the giveaway as planned, we may change, suspend or cancel it, and we will tell people why.
  3. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or run by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
  4. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
